I am very excited to start my blog with this comparision review. By the way, here I will post my reviews on skincare, makeup and hair care products ;)
From left: Garnier BB Miracle Skin Perfector in Light & Maybelline Dream Pure BB in Medium
Both for oily skin.
Garnier BB Miracle Skin Perfector claims to:
1. Minimises pores
2. Matte finish
3. Correct blemishes
4. Evens complexion
5. Hydrates
6. UV protection
7. Oil free
Two shades.
The only one thing, I dont agree is matte finish. It gives more a natural look but for sure not a flat, matte finish what is fine with me but... just saying ;)
Maybelline Dream Pure BB claims to:
1. Minimises pores
2. Helps conceal redness
3. Hydrates
4. Matte finish
5. Smoothes
6. Evens skin tone
7. UV protection
8. Oil free
9. Correct blemishes
10. 2% of Salicylic Acid
Two shades.
Here again, I dont get a matte finish but I always use a mattyfing powder after so I dont mind it.
Consistency: Garnier one is more liquidy and you need less of product to cover whole face. Maybelline is more creamy(but not very thick) and you need much more to cover your face.
Left Garnier BB cream, right Maybelline Dream Pure BB
Coverage: both have quite good coverage but Maybelline one is more covering than a Garnier one. However with a Garnier I can apply another layer and get the same coverage as Maybelline gives by just one layer.
No make up face
One layer of Maybelline Dream Pure BB - no corrector, powder etc.
One layer of Garnier BB cream.
Shades: both are available in two shades - light and medium. I have Garnier in light and Maybelline in medium. Both adapt to skin shades very well so you don't need to worry:)
Both shades I have are very nice beiges without any pink or orange tones.
Overall: I would highly recommend both of them. Both have quite good lasting power what is around 6-7 hours on my combination skin. However, I have to tell that I think Garnier one will be better for people with combination-oily skin and Maybelline one for normal skin type. On my combination skin Garnier sets very well even without a powder while Maybelline one can looks a little bit cakey on very oily T-zone(like mine). Anyways, I think both of them are very good and worth trying :)
I have no idea how much they cost is US or UK. I bought them where I live - Poland and I paid around 5$ on sale for Garnier one and 8$ for Maybelline in a regular price.
If you have any questions feel free to ask :)
Love,
Martina
